Fernanda is a senior Agricultural Communications and Journalism major. After graduation, she plans to attend vet school to fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Fernanda is passionate about science communications, particularly when giving a voice to those in need and educating people to make good decisions regarding their health.

Hope Bigbee
Texas A&M University
Hope is a junior Nutrition major from Austin, Texas, who enjoys creative hobbies like cooking, baking, art, photography, and piano. She is currently in the dietetics program at TAMU, with hopes to eventually earn a master’s degree in counseling or psychology so that she can become a registered dietician.

Jared Cooke
Texas A&M University
Jared is a junior Zoology major. With a particular interest in paleontology, Jared wants to explore the central United States badlands for their late cretaceous marine fossils. In paleontological research, he loves paying the extreme amount of attention to detail required to make inferences and reach new depths.

Camryn is a General Engineering major from Houston, Texas. She has a great love for the outdoors and many adventurous goals, like visiting national parks and skydiving. Her favorite part of research is the persistence it demands, as well as the sometimes surprising outcomes.

Fatyma is a sophomore Pre-Medicine Chemistry major with a concentration in biochemistry. Hailing from Houston, Texas, she is passionate about her Muslim faith, science, and music of all kinds. Fatyma loves to communicate new knowledge and make use of opportunities that comes from research.
