Zoee Nolen is a junior double major in agricultural communications and journalism and agricultural economics at Texas A&M University. Growing up in Seminole, Texas, she developed a strong appreciation for agriculture’s role in sustaining both families and economies. “Agriculture is personal — it’s people, it’s values, it’s how we feed the world,” Zoee said.
Her academic journey blends economics, storytelling and advocacy, all with the goal of connecting science and agriculture in ways that are relevant and human. Zoee’s faith grounds her and shapes her perspective — she strives to live with purpose, integrity and compassion. When she’s not studying or writing, she enjoys spending time outdoors, nurturing relationships with loved ones and living out her Christian faith through everyday acts of kindness. Through Science Influencers, Zoee hopes to help others see agriculture as more than an industry — it’s a story worth telling.
