Vishnu Vasudev is a biomedical engineering major from Plano, Texas, who describes himself as a “total chemistry nerd.” He loves learning how the smallest molecular interactions create life-changing results. Vishnu plans to pursue a Ph.D. and work in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industries, where innovation and impact meet.
Outside of academics, Vishnu enjoys gardening, hiking, baking and cooking — spaces where creativity and precision intersect. “I love experimenting, whether it’s in the lab or the kitchen,” he said. That same curiosity drives his approach to research and communication. Through Science Influencers, Vishnu hopes to help others see how biomedical science connects directly to human health and everyday life — showing that research, like cooking, is about experimentation, patience and joy in discovery.
