Caleb Crubaugh

Caleb is researching Extremophile Microbes for Agricultural Development. Throughout his life, Caleb has had a desire to explore the unknown; whether descending deep into caves or trekking to mountain summits, he’s wanted to observe these extreme environments. While studying biological and agricultural engineering, Caleb has found his research passion deep in the environments—extremophile microorganisms. These microbes have survived in the most inhospitable places on earth, developing unique processes with significant biotechnological potential. Caleb aspires to discover and research the microbes found within caves in Borneo with the hope of contributing to agricultural development.
