John (JD) Taylor

JD is interested in finding the most effective way to eradicate feral hogs. Some of the methods he wants to study include hunting, trapping, and poisoning. He is also interested in predator reestablishment, which he believes is basically reintroducing native predators of feral hogs to establish natural control over their populations. JD wants to use his research results to help farmers. Feral hogs cause billions of dollars in damage every year with much of that damage affecting farmers specifically. Regardless of which methods work best, he hopes to then coalesce his findings into an easy to read document that can be used by both foreign and domestic farmers. JD’s mission is to find the best way to get rid of them and to make that method accessible to as many people as possible. To follow his research, follow him on Instagram @JDTay24.
