Latifah Adesina

Latifah Adesina is a communication major with a minor in computer science at Texas A&M University. She’s fascinated by how humans and technology communicate — how data, language and emotion intertwine. Her favorite part of research is “gathering the data itself,” a process she finds both grounding and exciting. With a growing interest in computational linguistics, Latifah hopes to explore how artificial intelligence can interpret human connection across different cultures and contexts.

Outside of the lab, Latifah enjoys long walks, crocheting and spending quiet time with books that expand her worldview. Her creative curiosity fuels her academic one — she believes good communication, like good code, builds understanding between people and ideas. Through Science Influencers, Latifah hopes to bridge communication and technology in ways that make complex science both accessible and human.
