Subi Sankar is a biology major with a deep curiosity about life’s smallest details and biggest systems. Her favorite part of research is “discovering the unknown and making it understandable.” Subi’s academic focus spans environmental and cellular science and she’s passionate about translating complex scientific discoveries into stories people can connect with.
Outside her academic work, Subi enjoys swimming, listening to music, watching films and spending meaningful time with friends and family. She believes science and storytelling go hand in hand — both require imagination, clarity and empathy. Through Science Influencers, she hopes to help others see that science isn’t confined to laboratories; it’s woven through everything we do, from the environment we live in to the choices we make every day.
